About Me

Hi, I'm Pola, the woman behind SouthamptonCleaner.com.

Cleaning isn't just my job - it's what I genuinely love doing. While most people hate scrubbing bathrooms or organizing closets, these tasks actually make me happy!  

After my child was born, I threw myself into creating a spotless, well-organized home for my family. Friends would visit and ask, "How do you keep everything so perfect with a little one running around?"  Well, the truth is I actually enjoy the work!

Eventually, I had a thought: "Why limit my skills to just my own house?" So many busy people struggle to maintain their homes while juggling work, kids, and everything else life throws at them. I knew I could help.

Initially I worked as part of a team in Southampton and surrounding areas. This was great, but I wanted to have full control over the quality I deliver, so I created SouthaptonCleaner.com - my own cleaning service.

  • Creating Storage Solutions: Finding practical and efficient ways to store items, such as using labelled containers, shelving, or drawer organizers.
  • Optimizing Space: Rearranging furniture and storage areas to maximize available space and improve room flow.
  • Reducing Clutter Hotspots: Addressing areas that frequently accumulate mess, such as countertops, entryways, and closets.
  • Establishing Organizational Systems: Implementing easy-to-maintain systems to keep spaces tidy long-term.

Extra Services:

How it works: I perform all extra services within the number of hours you book me for. For example, if you have a 1 bedroom apartment and you book me for 2 hours/week, you can decide one week that you would like me to clean inside of your fridge. This may take an hour. This means that in that week, I will spend 1 hour on general house cleaning, and 1 hour on cleaning inside of your fridge. The cost for that week will be £40 (for 2 hours) + £20 for an extra service. Bed linen change, in contrast, will take much less time, so I can do this extra service together with most of the usual cleaning.

FAQ

Is a long-term contract required for service?

Absolutely not. My services are provided as needed to suit your busy lifestyle. There are no long-term contracts or obligations required.

How long have you been cleaning homes?

I have been cleaning homes in Southampton since 2024. 

Are you insured?

Yes. I am fully insured with liability insurance to protect your home and to give you peace of mind.

What towns do you service?

I provide cleaning services for Southampton and surrounding areas. 

Do you have your own cleaning supplies?

Yes, I use my own cleaning products unless you want me to use yours. 

Will I have the same cleaning person each visit?

Yes, since I don't hire anyone, I will be the only person cleaning your home. 

Do I need to be home the day of cleaning?

Some customers prefer scheduling cleaning appointments while they are at work or away for the day, while others like to be at home during the process. This is up to you. Regardless of your schedule, you are certain to receive superior housekeeping service - guaranteed!

Can I skip or reschedule an appointment?

If you anticipate needing to change an appointment time, ideally, I would like  a notice a minimum of 24 hours in advance. I'll move your visit to another, more convenient time or if you wish, cancel it all together.

How will you enter my home on my scheduled days of cleaning?

I leave this up to you, whatever you feel most comfortable with. 1. You may give me a key. 2. You can leave a key under a door mat the day of cleaning. 3. You can give me the code to the garage. 4. You can leave the door unlocked the day of cleaning. I have worked with all of these options.

Do you offer house cleaning gift certificates?

Yes. You can purchase a cleaning gift certificate for just about any occasion.

How and when do I pay for my cleaning services?

You will pay at the time of service. I accept most major credit cards, debit card payments and payment by cash.
